When I make these watercolor paintings, I'm aware that cameras and AI can make the art much faster than me. So I make these paintings using techniques that optimize the strengths of this medium.Exaggerated color palettes and wild brush strokes give the viewer a stronger sense of the communication happening between my mind, eyes, and hand as I make art. It's very low tech and personal. There are faster ways to make art, but none that express me better.

The A-frame Lounge The object of this painting is the A-frame Lounge the subject is a dreamlike state focusing on atmosphere and mood. I aimed to create a warm yet solemn tone, reflecting a memory from my youth over 31 years ago. Back then, I worked at Allen Lewis Manufacturing in North Denver with a friend who was an airbrush artist. On weekends, we?d head to the Mile High Flea Market, where he airbrushed t-shirts, and I handled the money. As the day wound down, we?d celebrate with Budweiser,
